Bebe Poor of Pleasant Springs Pottery is bringing her wares to Oakmont Farmers Market this week! Bebe is excited to share her work with her new home town. Bebe and her husband Alfred moved to Havertown a year ago. 

Bebe works with three different stoneware clays. You will see the bright glaze colors on the white clay. A speckled buff clay has a more earthy tone. The third is a black clay. “I love all three clays. Each one has its own challenges and rewards.”

Many pieces (mugs, cake bakers and bowls) are thrown on a wheel. Others are hand built from rolled out slabs of clay. These include spoon rests, hanging plaques, ring bowls, wall pockets and small ceramic pendants. To see more of her work, visit Pleasant Springs Pottery online at
