
We are continuing this feature of the Newsletter to encourage customers to share their experiences with products purchased at the market. These can be dishes, beverages or meals, uses of items like wools, soaps or lotions or perhaps even combinations of these such as a dinner complete with flowers and candles. When their submission is published, customers will receive a $10.00 OFM Gift Card to purchase items from one of our wonderful vendors. This recipe uses Swiss Chard from Red Barn.
Sauté half a pound of lion’s mane mushrooms in about 1 tablespoon of olive oil, in a Dutch oven. Stir while browning. Alternatively, you could use baby bella mushrooms or whatever variety you have. Cook for 15 minutes on medium heat until dark brown. Then add two cloves of chopped garlic and salt, and cook for one minute. Then add one bunch of chopped Swiss Chard until it wilts. Add a squeeze of lemon or lime and salt before serving.
