
We are continuing the new feature of the Newsletter to encourage customers to share their experiences with products purchased at the market. These can be dishes, beverages or meals, uses of items like wools, soaps or lotions or perhaps even combinations of these such as a dinner complete with flowers and candles.When their submission is published, customers will receive a $10.00 OFM Gift Card to purchase items from one of our wonderful vendors. Entries can be sent to our e mail for an upcoming newsletter: oakmontfarmersmarket@gmail.com . We also encourage customers to post these on their social media, tagging OFM and the vendors.

This recipe uses zucchini and scallions from Full Table Farm.
Cut one large zucchini in half lengthwise, then slice it to make half circles. Slice both the white and green parts of one scallion. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a skillet with 2 cloves of minced garlic until fragrant. Add zucchini and two teaspoons of miso paste and cook for a few minutes. If the zucchini and garlic begin to stick, add a teaspoon or two of water. Add the cut scallion, one teaspoon of sesame oil, and one teaspoon of sesame seeds and cook until the zucchini is softened but not mushy. Serve hot or at room temperature.
