WHAT THE VENDORS ARE BRINGING 11/19

AMAZING ACRES GOAT DAIRY 
Amazing Acres will be back at the market this week with a full selection of chèvre varieties, plenty of fresh Fromagina, and all of their bloomy rind options.

This Thanksgiving, take your side dishes to the next level with goat’s milk cheeses and very little extra effort. Use Amazing Acres Fromagina in place of cream cheese in your favorite dip recipe, or mix it into mashed potatoes along with the usual butter and cream. Crumble Rosemary Lemon Chèvre on beet salad. Serve a simple dessert of honey-drizzled chèvre with mixed berries. And don’t forget to get plenty of Cranberry Chèvre for leftover turkey sandwiches!

This is their last market before Thanksgiving, so stock up for your festivities!
ANNA’S OVEN
Anna’s Oven will return to the market this week with their small batch, made to order desserts. This week, she features pumpkin cupcakes, toadstool cupcakes, maple cookies, and brownies.

A SEASON CHEF 
This week Ruth features Chef Ruth’s plain chicken salad, curried chicken salad, ham salad, grain salad, meatloaf, seafood stuffed pepper, and plain or pumpkin hummus, as well as a variety of soups, including Chili, Chicken Zoodle, Collard Chowder, Red Pepper Fennel, and Spicy Peanut with Chicken. This week she will bring the following quiches: Butternut, Lorraine, and Ham, Leek, & Cheddar. This week she will bring the following carb- and gluten-free frittatas in both small and large sizes: Smoked Salmon & Scallion and Asparagus & Potato. Ruth will also be bringing a variety of cookies, as well as lemon pound cake and sweet potato pie.

CHIZFIT
Chizfit will return to the market this week with their non-dairy, vegan, and plant protein infused goods, including sweet potato maple bundt cake.
HANK’S CINNAMON BUNS
Hank’s Cinnamon Buns will return to the market this week with their delicious baked goods.
LINDENHOF FARM
Lindenhof Farm is a family-run, multi-generational farm nestled in the heart of Kirkwood, PA, owned by Axel and Susan Linde. They take pride in raising all-natural, grass-fed poultry, beef, lamb, and hogs on lush, open pastures.

Axel will have fresh chicken, fresh ground turkey and lots of chicken pot pies. Be sure to stock up on farm fresh brown eggs, and beef steaks are back.

NORTH STAR ORCHARDNorth Star Orchard will return to the market this week with their locally grown produce. 

Finally Bellatrix apples join Gold Rush, Keepsake, Winecrisp and more on their tables! Bellatrix was developed on their farm and quickly gained a fan club – are you the next member? This rustic beauty is tart and has an amazing complex flavor that creeps up on you and makes you go “wow!”
While the market will be open next Wednesday, 11/26, our stand will not be attending so that our staff can start their holiday traveling. Please plan to get your Thanksgiving apples and cider THIS COMING WEDNESDAY.

RED BARN PRODUCE 
Red Barn Produce will return to the market this week with their locally grown produce. This week, they will have head lettuce, spring and power mix, spinach, arugula, kale, Swiss chard, cilantro, broccoli, cauliflower, Napa cabbage, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, potatoes, butternut, acorn, and spaghetti squashes, sweet onions, garlic, winter leeks, radishes, dried flowers, and corn-, soy-, and GMO-free eggs.
SEVEN STARS SHARPENING
Seven Stars Sharpening will return to the market this week with their full service knife sharpening services.
TRADITIONAL GREEK SWEETS
Peggy is a third generation Greek cook and baker- with two Greek Yiayias how could she do anything else! Her food is seasonal and rich in culture.Everything is made by hand with love and respect of those who came before her. She will return to the market this week with their eats and sweets, all of which are baked from scratch in their commercial kitchen in Radnor PA.

This week, she features traditional and pistachio baklava, kourabiethes (toasted almond cookies dipped in powdered sugar), spanakopita, lathenya (flatbread), chicken souvlaki over pita, tzatziki, fiery feta, and red pepper hummus.
