| A SEASON CHEF This week Ruth features Chef Ruth’s plain chicken salad, curried chicken salad, shrimp salad, salmon cakes, pesto tortellini, shepherd’s pie, and plain or artichoke hummus, as well as a variety of soups, including Chili, Chicken Zoodle, Gingered Carrot, Chicken & Rice, and Tuscan White Bean. This week she will bring the following quiches: Pesto Shrimp, Lorraine, and Mushroom & Asparagus. This week she will bring the following carb- and gluten-free frittatas in both small and large sizes: Spinach & Artichoke Heart and Shiitake & Proscuitto. Ruth will also be bringing a variety of cookies, as well as Mexican chocolate cupcakes and pear gingerbread. | LINDENHOF FARM Lindenhof Farm is a family-run, multi-generational farm nestled in the heart of Kirkwood, PA, owned by Axel and Susan Linde. They take pride in raising all-natural, grass-fed poultry, beef, lamb, and hogs on lush, open pastures. Turkey time is just around the corner. Come to the market to reserve a fresh turkey or do it online-there are plenty of options to choose. This week, Axel will have plenty of fresh whole chickens, boneless chicken, wings, drumsticks and soup chickens. Steak inventory is limited but there will be lots of roasts for the crockpot.
