Hank McCoy’s love of baking goes back to when he was just 7 years old. Although Hank has always had a love of baking, for years he only looked at it as a hobby. As a music producer and DJ by trade, Hank would bake occasionally for his family.
In early 2020, with mandated quarantine and social distancing the new normal, packed parties and other events (that would normally require a skilled DJ) were also put on pause. With no end in sight, Hank turned to his hobby to keep his days occupied.
One day, his fiancée requested her favorite dessert, cinnamon buns. He spent weeks working with his younger brother to develop and test his recipe until he thought it was perfect. When he finally presented her the finished product, she took one bite, closed her eyes, and shook her head in pure happiness and exclaimed, “You need to sell these!
Everyone needs to know what heaven tastes like!”. Fast forward one year, many months of testing and perfecting, and slowly discovering his absolute love of making dough, Hank’s Cinnamon Buns was born.
