A SEASON CHEF This week Ruth features Chef Ruth’s plain or artichoke hummus, shepherd’s pie, and bacon jam, as well as a variety of soups, including Chili, Split Pea with Ham, Sweet Potato Bisque, and Chicken Zoodle. This week she will bring the following quiches in both small and large sizes: Crab, Lorraine, and Meat Lover’s. This week she will bring the following carb- and gluten-free frittatas in both small and large sizes: Mushroom and Smoked Salmon. Ruth will also be bringing chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, and gluten-free crinkles, as well as pecan pie brownies and pumpkin scones. Ruth will also have pies available including Pumpkin, Apple, Sweet Potato, Chocolate Mousse, and Maple Custard. Customers who pre-ordered pies may pick up at this week’s market. LINDENHOF FARM *PRE-ORDERS CLOSED* Lindenhof Farm is a small, multi-generational farm located in Kirkwood, PA, and owned by Axel and Susan Linda. They raise all-natural, grass-fed poultry, beef, lamb and hogs on healthy open pasture. Lindenhof will be there on Wednesday with all of your pre-ordered fresh turkeys! They expect to have a few extras, too, for those who missed pre-ordering. They will also bring all of their other coolers filled to the brim with eggs, and surprisingly fresh pork chops and roasts. They’ll have plenty of beef roasts, steaks, ground beef, and they have restocked all the lamb chops and roasts, too. |

This week they feature spring mix lettuce, power greens mix, spinach, arugula, Swiss chard, bell peppers, radishes, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, carrots, onions, and broccoli. They will also have dried flower arrangements in a small pumpkin for your centerpiece (see the top of the newsletter for a photo).
